Wednesday 20 Q for QUONDAM.
QUONDAM, an unusual word, for this age but in ‘The first English Dictionary 1604,’ by Robert Cawdrey, it is
defined as ‘heeretofore, in times past.’
My favourite from this little book is
QUERIMONIOUS, now this is a word you can
use today as the definition is, ‘full of complaining, and lamentation.’
