About Me.

A Family Tree researcher for over 30 years and a blogger since 2010, I love to share what I find. This blog has opened up a new way to contact and keep in-touch with both family and friends. It mightn't always be genealogy related and you might not agree with my point of view but I want you to comment, ask questions and look upon this blog as 'friends having a chat'.
Enjoy!

  1. I'm struck by how similar my baby picture was to that, and I was born in 1970! Very similar dress and pose.

  2. What a sweet face and a beautiful dress. And she's wearing a bracelet -- I love how feminine that is.

  3. I agree with Wendy. It must have taken a long time to make that beautiful dress!

  4. Grandma would make all their clothes and I think the dress was worn by all the girls. Mum was the 2nd eldest. If you look at my Wedding Wednesday posts, Arthur Galbraith and Eveline Jasper, She is my Grandma and the maker of the dress and the wedding dress she is wearing.
