About Me.

A Family Tree researcher for over 30 years and a blogger since 2010, I love to share what I find. This blog has opened up a new way to contact and keep in-touch with both family and friends. It mightn't always be genealogy related and you might not agree with my point of view but I want you to comment, ask questions and look upon this blog as 'friends having a chat'.
Enjoy!

Irish Ancestery

Had a quick overnight trip to Canberra, last weekend. I went and saw the exhibit at the National Museum of Australia, called, Not Just Ned, The Irish in Australia. It tells the story of Irish immigration, through the lives different people. I don't want to give to much away as it is well worth a visit. Went to the Australian War Memorial, on Sunday. I  like to pay my respects to my 2 uncles, who are on The Roll of Honour.
