I have just discovered Trove. It is an online resource that is done by the National Library of Australia.
Have a look at all it's got. I've spent hours going through the online newspapers and have found heaps of family related information. Google trove and you will find it.
A Family Tree researcher for over 30 years and a blogger since 2010, I love to share what I find. This blog has opened up a new way to contact and keep in-touch with both family and friends. It mightn't always be genealogy related and you might not agree with my point of view but I want you to comment, ask questions and look upon this blog as 'friends having a chat'.

I went down to Goulburn, last Wednesday and from there went out to Mummell. Mummell is where my Grandma, Louisa Abberton nee Nichol taught school. The building is still standing and I have been trying to contact the owner. Well he was there and showed us around and gave us some more history of the area. I didn't realise that it was such a big community, in the 1880's. Now to do some more research on it!
