Accentuate the Positive A Covid - 19 Challenge

Our world,  in the last three months  has been turned upside down as a result of this virus. Everything has changed and while some countries are relaxing the restrictions, we still have a long way to go before we are able to function at pre Covid - 19 levels. And I think it could be years, not months before that happens.

SO, I'm issuing a challenge.

  WHAT HAVE YOU ACHIEVED BETWEEN 1 MARCH 2020 AND 31 MAY 2020?


It can be anything that is POSITIVE.

Here is my list.

Books read - 31.

Craft - Knitted 1 jumper. Finished it.
            Finished a cardigan. Started it last year.
            Finished a scarf. Started it last year.

Cooked. (don't count dinners.)    2 fruit cakes.
                                                     2 cold tea cakes. (cold tea is the liquid used. recipe below)
                                                     2  rum 'n' raisin chocolate mousse.
                                                      ANZAC biscuits  about 18.
                                                     Dozen scones.
                                                     Dozen cupcakes, chocolate.
Blogs - 9

Study -
Started and finished 2 subjects in my Diploma of Family History, through UTAS and am halfway  through my last subject.   

Finished 1 NGIS subject.

Photos taken - 308.
Videos made -  15  Mastered how to video and upload to YouTube.

Technology -
Found and installed the new printer driver for my printer. (New PC wouldn't recognise it.)
Mastered Zoom, Facetime and Goto meeting.

DNA Discovery - Worked out how I'm connected to my biggest DNA match.


COLD TEA CAKE RECIPE.

1 cup of cold tea  (warm to dissolve the sugar)
3/4 cup sugar.
1 cup of currents.
Combine these 3 and wait until the sugar is dissolved and the tea is cold.
Stir in 2 cups of Self Raising flour.
Mix well.
Pour into a loaf tin.
Cook in a Moderate oven for an hour or until a skewer comes out clean.
Enjoy.
